Welcome to the LaMancha page.  Windfall is a purebred LaMancha dairy goat.  She gave birth to triplets this spring.  Unfortunatly I lost her buck, but have retained both of her does.  No, they are NOT  fainting goats.  Yes her ears are supposed to look like that.  I wanted to try having a family milker and found her.

LaManchas are a landrace breed, meaning they were developed in the U.S.  Fainting Goats are also a landrace breed.  LaManchas are good-natured goats who can adapt to living pretty much anywhere.  They have ears, they are just tiny and close to the head.

Update:  Unfortunatly we had to sell Windfall as she was jsut too mean to the fainters and couldn't get along with anyone.  Luckily since Sweety and Bear have grown up around them they fit right in.  Bear is bred for kids with Cochise for March 1st because she climbed into the pen with him when she was in heat.  Sweety is bred to Coochise for April 11th kids because she was plenty big and her heats were quite obnoxious.  I'm looking forward to FaMancha (?) kids and having fresh milk again.
